The standard license fee for 2023/24 is £437.53 + VAT. If the beach hut measures in excess of 2.43m in depth x 2.13m in width an oversize fee is applicable which is £416.74 which is a total of £854.27 + VAT.

NON-DOMESTIC RATES

At present there is a 100% relief on beach huts however this relief is only applicable if a purchaser is not already claiming "small business rate relief" on a small business. If an applicant is not applicable to the relief the approximate cost per annum would be in the region of £200 - £250.
